Foot Golf is a new sport for all ages combining skills of both football and golf.
Played over twelve holes, the game is just like golf except that instead of using a golf ball and a set of clubs, a football is kicked from the tee to the large hole on the green.
Trees, sand bunkers and water hazards all feature on the course. You may be masterful on a football pitch but can you control the ball over the correct distance to get it in the hole in the fewest number of kicks?
How Can I Play?
Bruntwood Park Pitch and Putt course will be open to play Foot Golf throughout the year, subject to weather conditions.
As Foot Golf is a different game to Pitch and Putt, but both are played on the same course, Foot Golf is only available for pre-booked games during certain times.
The minimum group size is 12 players.
For details of availability and to book your round, please contact the pro shop at Cheadle Golf Club on 0161 491 4452 Extn 2 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
What Should I Wear?
There’s no strict dress code – just dress for the weather – we advise that you wear either trainers with a good grip on the sole or golf shoes.
Do not wear football boots as they are not necessary and are not allowed on the course.
- All prices include one round (18 holes) of Foot Golf and the hire of one football per player.
- A £5 returnable deposit is required for the hire of each ball.
- Players may use their own football if they wish. No deposit is required if you choose to play using your own ball.
