Today is a very sad day for Cheadle Golf Club. We have been informed that Ian Haig passed away peacefully earlier this morning. I am sure that all members will join with me in extending our heartfelt condolences to Gillian and all members of Ian’s family.
As many of you are aware Ian had been seriously ill for some time. Despite this he had always maintained his enthusiasm and interest for the Club and its members. His contribution over the years has been immense and he will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
We do not have details of the arrangements for the funeral. As soon as these are known all members will be informed.
