The Ladies section of Cheadle Golf Club, formed in 1896, are celebrating their 125th Anniversary this year. Their first competition was exactly 125 years ago today, when they played a Medal. Lady Captain, Bev Van Ross, and Past Lady Captains Judith Sandford and Val Smith commemorated the occasion by playing today’s competition, bathed in glorious sunshine, in Victorian Period costume.
